Still waiting for paid support from the NOC. It’s beyond my capacity at this point to understand the underlying issues.

geof…if i haven’t said before how much i appreciate your work in all of this, i’ll say it now. thanks for doing stuff to keep things running even if it stops things for a while and drives you crazy. a few days of downtime is good every now and then…especially since i found out yesterday that i have a 10-page paper due tomorrow…

well, if the downtime wasn’t this weekend, i wouldn’t have just finished my paper a mere 6 hours after i started it. and the downtime keeps me from having to think about requesting a temporary ban so i can not be distracted by new posts…:)

Yeah, the folks at the NOC are working on it right now. Hopefully we’ll have something soon, and hopefully the bill’s not going to suck.
Oh, and as to the concept of turning this into a discussion forum … that would be sweet irony, considering that this is hosted on the last non-dedicated server we used with caedmosncall.net … the one where I was told by my friend to “get your crap off of my server before you kill my business”.
